The Poetry Competition

The submission period for the Poetry Corners Juried Competition has ended. Throughout February, we gathered entries from poets of all ages, disciplines, and experience levels from across the island and Kitsap Country. We’re excited to share the fruits of the competition with the community! Keep your eyes peeled for the winning poems, which will appear around town in our Poetry Corners Displays beginning April 1st.

Poetry Corners Window Displays

Since 1999, Poetry Corners has given local poets an opportunity to have their work recognized in the community. Selections from the poetry competition are artfully exhibited in the windows of businesses and community spaces around Bainbridge Island to be enjoyed by patrons and passers-by throughout April. These insightful compositions enhance our shared spaces by inviting us to pause, read, absorb, reflect, and come away inspired. Stay tuned for a complete list of where to find Poetry Corners Window Displays!
